Martin Pratt spent the past two decades in various roles within the Home Improvement and Consumer Package Goods Industries.

 

Hands on leadership was at the forefront of his career from Retail Management to Branded Product Sales and Marketing.  Learning by doing and getting out to know the business has positioned him to help Manufacturers, Distributors and Retailers to drive business under the Rhody Consulting Services LLC Banner.

 

Like the State of Rhode Island, the firm is small but powerful.  Our clients will get personal service to meet the needs of their business.  It brings the passion of its founder to every project, no matter how big or small.

Retail Management:  As part of Hechinger's HQ Warehouse, he learned how to merchandise, order product and drive sales.

 

Vendor Management:  Handling thirty product lines, able to balance each brand's needs as well as learn new ways to merchandise.

 

Manufacturer:  Early in his Scotts Miracle-Gro Career, he took the opportunity to work with Independent Retailers and developed a passion similar to his family owned partners. He worked with professionals on both sides of the business in order to learn and implement best practices.  His ability to listen and remember provided the knowledge to help others
